‘Birds in the Round - Autumn Ring’ is a one-off remarkable hand crafted sculpture by Northumberland based sculptor Robin Fox.

Eight individually handbuilt abstract winged figure in mixed media epoxy resin with a Verdigris and painted finish.

The birds perch on a lattice of corkscrew hazel branches with hand painted steel leaves, inserted into an elevated 40cm steel ring which is set into a gorgeous piece of stone that has been hand quarried from Ladycross Quarry in Northumberland. The stone shows detailed layers throughout, Robin visits the quarry and carefully chooses the stone for each piece that he feels best matches the piece. The stone is set onto a steel disk.
