It is a unique handmade item with each strand of wire running from the roots through to the leaves. The canopy of leaves is made from loops of aluminium and copper wire. It has no other additional wiring, glue, solder, or any other means of support and the sculpture is self supporting through the twisting method used which holds it together.
Clive has used a total of 395 metres of approximately 16500 loops of wire within this piece.
