I am particularly concerned with shape, and proportion, and the contrast and overlap of colours and textures inspired by the natural landscape.

Having re-located to Bath in 2007 and following a period of working part time as both architect and potter Trevor Lillistone became a full time potter in 2011, working from his own studio in Bath Artists' Studios.

Trevor produces individual decorative ware of tall vases, bottles and bowls in a variety of shapes and sizes, and particularly specialize in finely thrown bowls. The decorative work is made either in porcelain or a smooth white stoneware clay which both have excellent colour definition, and fired to 1260°C in an electric kiln at the studio.
