Rowena Gilbert
Tear Drop Vase
Tear Drop Vase
£130.00
A beautiful Teal/blue vase by Brighton based ceramicist, Rowena Gilbert.
Rowena’s own creations involve a beautiful fluidity of line and variation of texture to each piece. Her work is heavily inspired by the natural world around her.
Layer upon layer of coloured slips have been built up upon the outer and inner of the vase before Rowena then lets her creativity flow free in the final stages of her process, here she has used brushwork which adds an element of spontaneity and freedom to the work, perfectly linking to their riverbank inspiration.
Vases are water tight, gloss glazed to hold water for fresh flowers.
