‘Training Wings’ are a collection of delightful hand crafted sculptures by Northumberland based sculptor Robin Fox.

An individually handbuilt abstract fledging in mixed media with a variegated patination and verdigris and oxidised finish.

Each baby bird is set onto a stone block that has been hand quarried from Ladycross Quarry in Northumberland. The stone shows detailed layers throughout, Robin visits the quarry and carefully chooses the stone for each piece that he feels best matches the sculpture itself.
