In the artist’s words: “Rarely done, this walk is now a firm favourite. It is grand on any day but when the sun threatens through an otherwise busy sky, it is promising the most incredible views. Although it is easy access with a drive near to Walla Crag, it is also accessible from lower down and a little more challenging. From Walla Crag, the view opens out towards Castle Crag in Borrowdale, over Derwent Water , Grange and towards Honister Pass and beyond where you will come to the beautiful  Buttermere fells.”
