The cross that Jesus was nailed to was created from three different woods. One came from the cypress, one from the pine, and the other from the cedar.
These trees are all made out of aluminium. They’re crafted from many hand-done loops, with the Taiwan Cypress Tree having a total of 10,600 loops in its canopy. Each strand runs from the roots through to the leaves and has no other additional wiring, glue, solder, or any other means of securing them. The sculpture is entirely self supported.
